STRANGER THINGS
Season 2 of "Stranger Things" picks up one year after the events of the first season, in the fall of 1984, in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The main characters continue to deal with the aftermath of the events surrounding the Upside Down and the disappearance of Eleven.
Here's a general summary of the main plot points for Season 2:
The Shadow Monster: A new and powerful malevolent force, often referred to as the "Shadow Monster," starts to influence events in Hawkins. This creature is connected to the Upside Down and poses a significant threat to the town and its residents.
Will's Troubles: Will Byers, who was rescued from the Upside Down in the previous season, is still experiencing visions and nightmares connected to the other realm. As the season progresses, it becomes apparent that he has some connection with the Shadow Monster.
Eleven's Return: Eleven, the young girl with telekinetic powers, is alive and in hiding. She ventures out of her hiding place to find her friends and seek answers about her past. Throughout the season, she reunites with Mike and the gang and becomes crucial to their efforts in confronting the growing threat of the Shadow Monster.
New Characters: Season 2 introduces several new characters, including Max, a new girl in town, and her stepbrother Billy. Max becomes friends with the main group, while Billy adds a layer of tension and conflict to the story.
Government Conspiracy: The government organization, Hawkins National Laboratory, continues to be involved in secretive and dangerous experiments, and their actions impact the lives of the main characters.
Upside Down Incursions: The Upside Down begins to encroach on Hawkins once again, leading to dangerous and frightening encounters with Demodogs (Demogorgon dogs) that the Shadow Monster controls.

Eleven's Powers: Eleven's telekinetic powers play a crucial role in battling the Shadow Monster and its minions, and her connection to the Upside Down becomes clearer as the season unfolds.
